I am currently at SDSU writing my thesis on Numerical Solutions of Opposed Flow Flame Spread in Cylindrical Coordinates. This is basically computer modeling of how fast wires and such things burn in various conditions, with emphesis on the micro-gravity conditions found in space. This thesis will be done in the beginning of April, and I know you are all eagerly waiting to read it.
When I am not spending my time writing my thesis or doing research, I can usually be found at Comprehensive Medical Review (CMR). There I work full time as a biomechanical research engineer. In short, I study automobile accidents and evaluate the potential for injury for any specific accident. CMR is an independant firm which performs objective reviews of cases from both medical and biomechanical viewpoints. While the medical aspect looks at things such what treatment is reasonable and necessary, the biomechanical aspect (my part) is to just evaluate the likelihood of injury.
I know you can't wait to learn more, so check back here later when the construction phase is done. In the meantime, you can e-mail me at grad3@voyager5.sdsu.edu
